For many years Folkebådcentralen in Kerteminde has been famous for the excellent quality of the boats, that has been delivered to many discerning sailors.
In 1997 Erik Andreasen founded another boatyard in Estonia. Here he found a competent partner and together they have created a modern and efficient boatyard – Folkboat Baltic Limited.
By moving production to Estonia it was possible to keep the competitive price level and at the same time continue the fine quality. The yard in Estonia has 25 capable employees – skilled boat builders, GRP-workers, cabinetmakers and metalworkers.
The whole production takes place here, from moulding the hulls, manufacturing the fine quality accommodation from teak and mahogany, and fitting it into the boats.
For local markets the boats are delivered direct from Estonia, but most boats are shipped to Kerteminde for final finishing and fitting accessories.
Folkboat Baltic Ltd. has embraced the latest boat building technologies and is fitted with up to date machinery. Large fans have been installed to create a safe and correct working environment.
